Galax’s hoops team was presented its state championship rings, including the fifth each for two seniors.

The fist-bump has largely replaced the handshake and to some extent the high-five among today’s youth in general, athletes in particular. Eddie Hanks and Jon Alouf need to have a care when greeting a friend or teammate in such a manner. Someone could end up needing stitches.
