As the parent of a daughter who has lived at Southwest Virginia Training Center for 11 years, I understand the confusion and anger expressed by other families who attended the Feb. 9 meeting with the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.
Decisions affecting training center residents were made without family/guardian involvement, or  on-campus investigations.
