Junior D. Testerman, 55

Junior D. Testerman, 55, of Elk Creek, died Jan. 27, 2012, at Grayson Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Independence.

He was born Jan. 24, 1957, at Galax, to the late Wilbur M. Testerman and Mildred Sawyers Testerman.

Survivors include a sister and husband, Marcia and Tim Sutherland of Elk Creek; two nephews and a spouse; and several cousins and many friends.

A funeral was held Sunday in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence. The Rev. Jimmy Hall officiated. Burial followed in Comers Rock Cemetery, Comers Rock.
