RICHMOND — Add Virginia to the growing list of states where laws banning same-sex marriage are suffering legal setbacks.
A ruling Feb. 13 by Norfolk-based federal Judge Arenda Wright Allen found Virginia’s laws restricting marriage to one man and one woman unconstitutional on the grounds that they deny due process and equal protection rights.
