Jean Cox Chase, 86

Jean Cox Chase of Hilton Head Island, S.C., died peacefully at the Fraser Health Center of The Seabrook on May 19, 2012.
Jean retired in 1987 from the faculty of Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, N.C., and moved to Hilton Head where she became a resident of The Seabrook Retirement Community. In her later years she enjoyed book groups, the arts and the good company and conversation of many fine friends and loving caregivers.  
She was a member and Daughter of the King at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
