Ila Elizabeth Mabe, 65, of Fries, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Woltz Hospice Home, Dobson, N.C.

She was born Oct. 21, 1946, in Galax to the late Ila Elizabeth and Walker M. Dalton.

She is preceded in death by one sister, Mae Baumgardner; five brothers, Joe, David, Bill and Jean Dalton and Sonny Bean.
