Hold BP responsible for oil disaster
Here we go again with another sad and disgusting scene in the Gulf states, where peoples lives are turned upside down by a disaster not by Mother Nature but by man — the BP oil company.
According to reports, pressure and greed to complete building the oil rig was far more important than safety to the workers.
Eleven lives were lost during the fiery explosion. BP had a cozy relations with government agencies and some members of Congress — what a surprise.
The total amount of oil spilled to date, no one knows. From the company chief executive, their take on all of this is he wants his life back or we’ll help the small people.
That is a slap in the face to all who are affected by this tragedy. It is heart-wrenching to see the tears, the pain and the anguish on the face of victims.
Let the justice system hold this company’s feet to the fire and pay every red cent that it costs to clean up and pay the victims, fishermen and businesses.
Overseas, our brave souls in the military continue to suffer casualties in Afghanistan and Iraq. Pakistan is not helping, and is a hindrance to our troops.
May the Lord wake them up by rumbling the earth. Prayers and thoughts to our troops and their families.
God be with them always
