HILLSVILLE — Town council members held a special meeting Sept. 4 to select the interviewees for the vacant town manager’s position.
Hillsville has received 40 applications for the post, according to town officials. Larry South resigned from the position in June after 18 years.
At the special meeting, council members selected six candidates to interview for the job, Mayor Greg Crowder said.
