HILLSVILLE — Perceived poor paperwork practices by the disbanded Hillsville Rescue Squad has raised questions for one town citizen, and town council has finally set a deadline for the squad to move equipment out of its building.
Nancy Beasley, speaker at the Sept. 10 Hillsville Town Council meeting, pointed to State Corporation Commission filings and guidestar.org, a review of charities for donors, as proof of laxness by representatives of the squad.
