Helping Backpack Buddies

I would like to express my appreciation toward the wonderful mission of supplying food to less fortunate children that the Galax Backpack Buddies Program and that all Backpack Buddies Programs take on.
My family and I volunteer with Galax Backpack Buddies so I get to witness firsthand the efforts put on by the numerous volunteers each week.
Volunteers pack and deliver the backpacks to the Galax schools by hand.
Backpack Buddies Programs rely on some grants, but mainly community support. The Galax Backpack Buddies Program currently packs nearly 200 backpacks each week.
I would also like to thank everyone who has donated time, money, or any other resources in support of Galax’s or any other Backpack Buddies Program and I would encourage anyone looking for an excellent community service opportunity to find a Backpack Buddies Program near you.
