INDEPENDENCE — Grayson County leaders are considering opening a shooting range, but would like a third party to take on the responsibility.
Supervisors discussed the idea during their regular meeting Oct. 11. It’s a topic they have discussed for more than a year.
Deputy County Administrator Mitch Smith told the board that the proposed land for the shooting range was off Graystone Road, just across the street from the county’s closed landfill.
