INDEPENDENCE — The Grayson County School Board is asking county supervisors for $250,000 above the minimally required funding for the 2014-2015 school year, to help fund building renovations, the purchase of a new school bus and laptops for the students.
Although budget plans are still in their early stages, the two groups are openly discussing their options to continue meeting each other’s goals.
