Grayson Fiddlers' Convention a success

-A A +A

What a wonderful weekend.  The weather was perfect and the Grayson County Fiddlers’ Convention went off without a hitch.
The Elk Creek Fire Department does a great deal of planning, prior to the event, but it is all of our community volunteers that make it happen.  The Elk Creek Volunteer Fire Department is truly a community fire department.
We thank each person who helped in any way to make the fiddlers’ convention successful.
We thank the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department for its service, and Window World of Southwest Virginia, David and Sherry Cornett, who donated half the expense of our new windows in the concession stand.
It is truly an honor to be a part of a volunteer organization that the Elk Creek and Comers Rock communities are dedicated to.
Thank you again and we will do it again next year, with your help.
