Grayson fiddlers' convention starts Friday

ELK CREEK — Grayson County will hold its 41st Annual Old-Time and Bluegrass Fiddlers' Convention at Elk Creek School Ball Park starting today, Friday and continuing Saturday.

The two-day event will feature $3,300 in cash prizes.

Registration remains open for contestants until show time — set to begin at 5 p.m. tonight and 3 p.m. tomorrow.

Admission to the convention will be $6 on Friday and $8 on Saturday, or a two-day pass is available for $12. Camping is also available for $5 per day.
