INDEPENDENCE — Several more indictments have been unsealed by Grayson County Circuit Court, revealing the names of suspects indicted by a grand jury on April 28.
An indictment indicates that the grand jury found sufficient evidence for a case to go to trial, and does not indicate guilt.
All of those indicted are innocent until proven guilty.
The most recent charges unsealed include:
• David Lee Anthony, Galax – possession of a schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine).
• Brittany Davis – embezzlement. She is accused of embezzling more than $200 from Hardee's.
• Sirena Lee Rector, Fancy Gap – possession of a schedule II controlled substance (morphine); possession of a schedule II controlled substance (alprazolan).
• Derek Lee Smith, Sugar Grove – two counts for the sale, gift or distribution of a schedule II controlled substance (meth).
• Terry Lorenzo Tucker, Galax – two counts for aggravated sexual abuse.
• Kenneth Neal Densmore, Galax — sale, gift or distribution of a schedule II controlled substance (meth); possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute (meth).
• Steven Carl McMillan, Galax – possession of a schedule I controlled substance (psilocybin).
• Brittany Ann Hunt, Sparta, N.C. – obtain drugs by fraud; petit larceny; conspiracy to sell, give or distribute a schedule II controlled substance (oxycodone).
