INDEPENDENCE – Grayson County Public Schools may be forced to cut $660,503 from its current budget and $2.3 million from next year’s after shortfalls in state revenue and previous enrollment estimates proved to be too high.
School Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Thomas brought the ongoing bad news to the school board during its regular meeting Monday night.
