Galax shuts down Honaker
The Maroon Tide held the Tigers to less than 100 yards on the ground in its 48-9 win.
Facing a runningback on the threshold of topping the 2,000-yard plateau for the season, Galax certainly didn’t bank on defending 35 pass attempts in its Western Section Division 1 third-round game with Honaker. The fact that the Maroon Tide did, spoke volumes about its run defense.
