An outdoor stage to be constructed this year in a wooded area behind the office of the Arts Council of the Twin Counties will commemorate 37 years of the Galax Theatre Guild.
“When I came here and I saw this spot, I thought, ‘What a perfect place for an outdoor concert,’” said Laura Romanowski, director of the arts council. “We wanted something permanent to match the many years that the guild spent producing plays.”
