Former restaurant is off the market

Bogey's was a popular eatery in Galax until it closed in 2009.

On the market since 2009, the building in Galax that once housed the fine dining restaurant Bogeys is finally being sold.
An “Under Contract” sign from Galax Realty now stands in front of Bogeys, located at the intersection of Glendale Road and Country Club Lane, next to the Galax Municipal Golf Course.
Bogeys, which opened in 2005, closed its doors in August 2009 after struggling through the economic slowdown. The restaurant had started with 40 workers and then declined to 20.
When factories began shutting down, sales dropped off.
Galax Realty and former owner Stewart Frazier would not comment on the sale of the restaurant. However, Frazier said the sale should be complete as early as next week.
