HILLSVILLE — A former Carroll County Public Schools employee didn’t fight a charge that he took money from school vending machines during his 12-year stint as a custodian.
James T. Spicer, 55, of Hillsville appeared in Carroll County Circuit Count on Monday and entered a “no contest” plea to one count of grand larceny.
That was after Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Karen Boyer asked the court to dismiss seven other counts of grand larceny without cause.
