Films and farms could benefit Carroll

HILLSVILLE — If only Carroll County could get a screen test of its own, maybe it could attract motion picture companies to film here, said a board of supervisors member at the November meeting.
Supervisor Tom Littrell recently participated in the shooting of the movie adaptation of David Baldacci’s “Wish You Well” in Giles County. He was an extra in the film, and one of his antique vehicles gets some screen time.
