Fields, Patton to be married

The parents of Stephanie Estella Fields and Grayson Richard Patton announced the engagement of their children.

STEPHANIE ESTELLA FIELDS AND GRAYSON RICHARD PATTON

Fields is the daughter of Sylvia and David Fields of Galax. Paternal grandparents are the late Lannie and Lonnie Fields of Galax. Maternal grandparents are the late Ina and Paul Funk of Galax.
Patton is the son of Tammy and Richard Patton of Fries.
Paternal grandparents are Herman and the late Lucille Patton of Fries. Maternal grandparents are E.C. and Shirley Kemp of Hillsville and Jean Kemp of Galax.
Fields is a 2005 graduate of Grayson County High School. She graduated from King College with a degree in psychology.
Patton is a 2004 graduate of Grayson County High School. He graduated from Milligan College with a double major in biology and math. He recently received his master’s degree in biology from Eastern Kentucky University.
A Sept. 4 wedding is planned at Grayson Highlands State Park at 4:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited.
