Fewer churches participating in Lord's Acre Sale

Participation has dropped from nearly 70 churches a decade ago to around 26. United Workers for Christ hopes to end that decline.

It's not the recession that could lead to the end of the Lord's Acre Sale, which is held every September in Galax's Felts Park for nearly 60 years.
