ECVFD thanks community for support

-A A +A

The weather was perfect and the Grayson County Fiddler’s Convention went off without a hitch, until we had transformer problems late Saturday night.
The Elk Creek Volunteer Fire Department does a great deal of planning for the fiddler’s convention prior to the event, but it is all of our community volunteers that help make it happen. The Elk Creek Volunteer Fire Department is truly a community fire department.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one who helped in any way to make the Grayson County Fiddler’s Convention successful.
We would also like to thank the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department for their service.
It is truly an honor to be a part of a volunteer organization that has such strong support from the surrounding communities it serves. Members of the Elk Creek Volunteer Fire Department give their time and energy to do their best to keep our communities safe.
Thank you again, and we will do it next year with your help.
Brian Billings, chief of Elk Creek Fire Department
