HILLSVILLE — Carroll County authorities and Drug Enforcement Administration agents continue an investigation that has so far yielded a large quantity of methamphetamine, cocaine and crack cocaine, as well as guns and cash, according to information from Sheriff J.B. Gardner.
Total value of the drugs seized tops $111,000.

Arrests have been made in the wake of searching two locations in Carroll — a residence on Little Rock Road in Cana and a second unspecified place, May 10 and May 13, respectively, according to a news release from the sheriff.
The persons arrested have not been named due to the ongoing investigation. More charges could be pending, or these arrests could lead to charges against others.
The May 10 search of the Little Rock Road residence in the Cana community “resulted in the seizure of 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, 3.6 ounces of cocaine, 1.7 ounces of ‘crack’ cocaine, 13 firearms and more than $28,000 in cash," Gardner said in a news release.
At the May 13 search, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office personnel, along with members of the Twin County Drug Task Force and DEA agents, made the second arrest.
“That person delivered 3 pounds of methamphetamine, 3/4 pound of cocaine, one pound of marijuana, one firearm and more than $6,600 in cash,” the release said.
