Crouses celebrate 50th anniversary

Fred and Norma Crouse celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner at Ryan’s Restaurant hosted by their sons.
The Crouses were married on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, 1962, in York, S.C.


The couple were raised in Galax, where they met. Mrs. Crouse is the former Norma J. Ring.
They lived in Kernersville, N.C., where they raised sons Ray and Thomas.
Their extended family includes Ray’s wife, Lynn; daughters Marissa and Miranda; along with Thomas’ wife, Lori, and daughter, Molly.
They alternate their time between the family horse farm in Germanton, N.C., traveling in their motor home, and Polk City, Fla.
Fred Crouse retired from Roadway Express and Norma Crouse worked at First Baptist Church, Kernersville.
Said Ray Crouse: “You both mean more each day to everyone your lives have touched in such a loving way!”
