County boards choose new leadership

The Carroll County and Grayson County boards of supervisors have chosen new chairmen to lead the localities in 2013.
The Carroll supervisors met briefly Monday to select leaders for 2013.
“This will be my last official act as chairman,” noted Sam Dickson, the at-large representative and county board leader for 2012.
He thanked his fellow county officials for the good year, even if there were a couple of unspecified hiccups along the way.
When the time came to select a new chairman, Dickson nominated Supervisor David Hutchins to succeed him.
