CLINTWOOD –– A year after one of the most humiliating defeats in the long history of a storied football program, Clintwood can now turn the page.
The Green Wave had Friday, Sept. 17 circled on its calendar ever since giving up 58 first-half points in a 61-6 loss at Grayson County last year and can now get down to the business of defending its 2011 state championship after thoroughly dismantling the Blue Devils 49-7 in a nondistrict game at Ralph Cummins Stadium.
