Church Sisters join Galax musical community

The bluegrass gospel group has performed at the White House, shared a stage with Sheryl Crow and Brad Paisley and competed on "America's Got Talent." Now, they are relocating to Galax to get involved in the local music scene.

The Church Sisters, a bluegrass gospel group from Danville, are picking up and moving to Galax to further their music career and become more involved with the local music scene.
It all began in 2006, when aspiring singer Savannah Church entered a talent competition. “It was just me and my dad, who played guitar,” she said. “I didn’t make it in myself. I thought I was a good singer, but evidently not!”
