HILLSVILLE — Carroll supervisors spent much of their July 8 meeting discussing problems that have arisen from decisions made by the county’s planning commission over the years, including misplaced use of policies and an incorrectly adopted site plan for a recreational vehicle development.
Policies wrongly adopted by the Carroll County Planning Commission — that should have been handled as amendments to the subdivision ordinance — were adopted incorrectly, the supervisors discussed with County Attorney Jim Cornwell at the July 8 meeting.
