HILLSVILLE — Instead of foreclosing on the Market Village shops, the Carroll Industrial Development Authority has accepted a deal to let another company assume the outstanding debt on it.
Weststar Investments, the company that developed the retail spaces that also house the Blue Ridge Plateau Visitors Center, is out — a business named HATCO is now included in the arrangements with the IDA, according to information from County Attorney Jim Cornwell and County Administrator Gary Larrowe.
