HILLSVILLE — As they approved the fiscal year 2009-10 budget, Carroll supervisors sounded sorry that opening the county swimming pool just isn't possible this year — but they also said they're trying to get a better facility.
In the end, the supervisors approved a general fund budget of $31.9 million and $15,000 for the law library without any increase in any taxes.
Combined with the April 27 approval of the $42.6 million school budget, that brings the total to $74.6 million.
