Boating Safety Course for Operators of Boats and Personal Watercraft

Boating Safety Course will be held on Saturday, January 28th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Galax Recreation Department, 601 South Main Street, Galax, Virginia 24333. The course is sponsored by the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 83, Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (DGIF) and Galax Recreation Department. Instruction, textbook and supplies are free. Bring a highlighter and lunch. Each graduate earns a wallet card showing successful completion of the class. Most major insurance companies endorse the course and allow insurance premium discounts to graduates. This course is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators and recognized by the United States Coast Guard. Pre-Registration is required.
