HILLSVILLE — A 25-year-old Carroll County man charged with burning his own home was released from jail on bond Sept. 29.
Travis Ray Hall was charged with arson by direct indictment at the September meeting of the Carroll grand jury, one day after he allegedly set fire to the trailer in the Laurel section of the county that his family lived in.
Hall was also charged with a felony as part of a Carroll Sheriff's Office investigation, for threatening to burn the home he shared with Ashley Hall.
