Alfred L. Shockley, 80

Alfred L. Shockley, 80, of Hillsville died Feb. 1, 2012.

He was born Rush and Rhoda Huff Shockley.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Wright Shockley; his sons, Edward Shockley, Paul and his wife Marsha Shockley; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will gather with friends and loved ones tonight, Friday, Feb. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. at Dinwiddie Presbyterian Church.

A private burial will follow at a later date.
