A political cartoon in the Dec. 27 Gazette prompts me to write this letter. For those of you who missed it, two figures bundled against the cold are standing waist deep in the snow.
One says, "Tell me again why global warming is bad..."
The answer is in the cartoon. Extreme climactic events such as we are presently witnessing are in fact the direct result of the “greenhouse effect.”
