Adam Lee Ashton, 34, of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012.
He was born in California on Sept. 14, 1977.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Herman and Jackie Mabry.
Survivors include his wife, Ramona J. Ashton of the home; children, Amber Ashton, Avery Ashton and Alexxis Ashton, all of the home; father and step-mother, Floyd and Lois Ashton Jr. of Laurel Fork; mother, Raylene Mabry of Ararat; sister and brother-in-law, Sara and David Beasley of Galax; brother and sister-in-law, Nicholas and Amanda Ashton of Laurel Fork; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Sara Ashton of California; father and mother-in-law, Richard and Mildred Marshall; sisters-in-law and spouse, Roxana and David Kamoda and Rhonda Marshall, all of Laurel Fork; four nieces; and two nephews.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. with Elder David Kamoda Jr. officiating. Burial followed in the Isaac Banks Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, from 6 until 8 p.m.
