2012-2013 Twin County GIRLS’ BASKETBALL preview

The 2011-12 basketball season was a pretty solid one for the three Twin County girls’ teams. Carroll County had its most successful years ever by winning the program’s first region championship and reaching the Division 4 state semifinals. Galax ended a two-decade absence by reaching the final four in Division 1. Grayson County improved by leaps and bounds over the 0-20 campaign from the year before, winning nine games and coming probably one win short of a region tournament appearance.
